Kick off 2018 by getting into the holiday spirits all night long at Drink the District’s Cocktail Countdown.

Open bars featuring beer and wines will keep the drinks flowing, plus imbibe on signature cocktail libations every hour on the hour at our Bourbon Bar. Before you hit the dance floor and take in awesome DJs spinning sonic revelry, nosh on tasty tidbits from area favorites*, sip your favorite drink while enjoying the outdoor fire pits (did someone say s'mores?!), and puff a hand rolled stogie at the cigar lounge.

Come as you are or get festive - we want you to party with us as we welcome in 2018 in our new digs and celebrate the new home of Drink the District. Make your mark by adding to the graffiti wall before we demo and build out to create our future party palace. Expect surprises throughout the night as we shimmy and shake our way to 2018.

All guests will enjoy a champagne toast at midnight. Join us to celebrate the end of 2017 and to welcome in an awesome 2018 with us!

*Food from vendors and cigars are not included in the price of a ticket.

Below are some frequently asked questions

What should I wear to ring in 2018?
Dress to please yourself! Come as you are or get festive! Canadian tuxedos are encouraged. Attendees are encouraged to break out their cocktail attire or favorite pair of blue jeans. Your call. All are welcome!

Are there age or ID requirements to enter the event? Can children accompany a parent?
All attendees must be over 21 to attend. Children will not be permitted in the event. You need to provide a government issued photo ID card verifying your age to receive admittance into the event.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Our recommendation is to take the Green line to the Georgia Ave/Petworth station. The event is located 5 blocks from the metro station. We highly encourage all attendees to take a car share or taxi service.

Street parking is limited around The Park View. Please allow yourself extra time if you plan to park on the streets. Please read signage carefully and observe parking restrictions.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You will need to either bring your printed ticket or you will need to pull up your ticket on your phone.

Are dogs or other pets allowed?
Dogs are not permitted into the venue. Service animals are always welcome.

Can I bring my baby/toddler/child?
Cocktail Countdown is a 21+ event. Children are not permitted into the venue.

What is your entry/exit policy?
The event has a no re-entry policy. Please make sure to bring everything you need with you into the event.

What is your smoking policy?
Smoking is permitted at the event in designated areas, such as in our outdoor cigar lounge. Be sure to grab a hand rolled cigar to enjoy in the outdoor lounge.

What is the refund policy?
All sales are final. There will be no refunds issued for the event.
